Dr. Arindam Basu, a Ph.D. from the University of Leeds, England, has over two decades of experience leading premier national research institutes in India. He has served as Director General of NITRA, Ghaziabad, and Director at both CSTRI, Bangalore, and SITRA, Coimbatore. He currently chairs the Textile Division Council of the Bureau of Indian Standards and the Bureau of Energy Efficiency’s Textile Industries division.
